Snapdeal is not Snapchat

After the statement by the social media company SNAPCHAT's CEO Evan Spiegel has denied to expand the business in India. Snapchat being an "app for rich people" and that India, being POOR nation, was not cost-effective market for Snapchat to expand to. While Snapchat dismissed the allegations as "ridiculous", numerous Indians took it to social media to show anger. The hashtag #boycottsnapchat became trending topic on Twitter and Facebook. Many people have mistaken Snapchat with the E-Commerce platform Snapdeal. Many people began to uninstall Snapchat and give it poor rating but many were so confused that they are uninstalling E-Commerce Snapdeal app instead. Though Snapdeal have no relation to Snapchat, Snapdeal is facing down-voting on Google Play Store. Snapdeal is caught in cross fire, its founder having to post on Twitter that it was a different company and had no associations with Evan Spiegel's alleged remark. # Snapchat # Snapdeal #Boyco
