Verify Presence is Enabled
- 1. In outlook click File => Options => People
- 2. Verify that “Display online status next to name” is checked

If
this option is greyed out launch Regedit and browse to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER => SOFTWARE => IM Providers. Verify that DefaultIMAPP is set to “Lync”.

ReplyDeleteThis fixed it but every time I shut down my computer and restart I have to do it again. Is there a permanent fix?
ReplyDeleteTry to relaunch the outlook once you have saved the settings.
